It was darned difficult to put get the complete Colosseum. Am quite proud of this picture, which is a combination of several photos and then some work.
The inside of the Colosseum is even more awesome than the outside. The hollow you see in the middle of the picture is the basement which was covered with a floor where the fighting took place. The floor is now gone. Some sort of terrace is being built on the right side.
This is the Colosseum from a distance. Here you can see how much of it is destroyed, and looking at it from here one cannot image how huge it is inside.
