Fishing at Esna Lock

This is an image of three men in traditional arab dress fishing at Esna Lock. They have caught a fairly large fish and this can be seen clearly in the picture. The background is the clear blue sea and the men, wearing traditional Arab robes, seem quite happy with their catch. It seems curious but the method they used is different from the normal fishing rod. They have used a long rod to spike the fish.
